A lovely little piece with a number of unique characteristics. This crystal displays two distinct growth phases. The first is a terminated quartz crystal with a thin coating of green chlorite on its surface. This crystal appears to have later been partially enveloped by a larger member, creating a well-formed chlorite phantom in the larger crystal's interior. This crystal also show signs of regrowth or self-healing on its root end.
