Gobi Agate Wands originate from the Alxa Plateau of Inner Mongolia, where they began forming over 150 million years ago through volcanic activity and the deposition of quartz and chalcedony. Over millennia, water, wind, and abrasive desert sands naturally weathered the agates, revealing beautiful banding, circular patterns, and occasional druzy surfaces. Each wand is uniquely shaped by this long natural process, creating a one-of-a-kind specimen ideal for collecting, carrying, or use as a hand-held working stone.
